Annual Coat Drive for Kids and Families

The Foundation hosts a yearly coat drive, ensuring that children in need stay warm during the winter months by providing brand-new coats donated by the community.

Fredonia Recreation Program

This program holds a special place in Jenna’s heart. She grew up attending it and later returned to work there throughout college. When the program faced financial challenges, the Mackenzie Hughes Family Foundation stepped in with a $5,000 donation to cover the cost of summer supplies and activities. This support ensures children in the community continue to enjoy a safe, enriching, and joy-filled summer.

Live Like Luca

Each year, the Foundation proudly contributes to the Live Like Luca Foundation’s golf tournament. Their mission is to honor the life and spirit of Luca, a vibrant young boy whose legacy lives on through acts of kindness, community engagement, and support for families facing serious health challenges. The Mackenzie Hughes Family Foundation is honored to support their efforts in creating a lasting impact for others.

The Mackenzie and Jenna Hughes Golf Scholarship Endowment at Kent State University

Founded at the university where Mackenzie and Jenna met, studied, and where Mackenzie played golf, this scholarship endowment provides financial assistance to Canadian golfers on the Kent State University golf team. The endowment reflects the couple’s commitment to supporting young athletes and the next generation of golfers, helping them pursue both their academic and athletic dreams.

Walking for Kids Foundation

The Walking for Kids Foundation, founded by DJ, is dedicated to supporting children’s health and wellness initiatives. DJ, a close friend of Mackenzie, walks alongside him during selected golf tournaments to raise

funds for the Foundation. Through their efforts, the Foundation aims to improve the lives of children by providing essential resources and support. Mackenzie is proud to stand beside DJ in this mission, helping to raise awareness and make a tangible impact for kids in need.

Simplicity Serves

Simplicity Serves is the community outreach initiative from Simplicity Organizers, dedicated to supporting individuals and families in need of organization, home management, and life optimization. Through partnerships and community-driven projects, Simplicity Serves works to help those in challenging circumstances create more organized and functional living spaces. The Mackenzie Hughes Family Foundation proudly partners with Simplicity Serves to provide monetary support to their organization and families, empowering them to regain control and find peace within their homes.

The Foundation is actively exploring opportunities to sponsor community playgrounds in Charlotte, NC, Dundas, Ontario (Mackenzie’s hometown), and Fredonia, NY (Jenna’s hometown), creating welcoming spaces for families to gather, play, and connect.
